(Press Release / San Jose, Jan 2009)

New technology collaboration produces first ultrafast pulse
laser combo-workstation.

A-1 Laser International
now offers practical system solutions for the ultrafast laser world. Together with our technology partners Raydiance (www.raydiance-inc.com) and NuTec (www.nutec.com) we designed and integrated the first femtosecond multi-platform workstation.

Fig.1  The Raydiance Discovery - the first practical UFP laser.

This latest A-1 Laser International workstation comes fully integrated with the Radiance 'Discovery' ultrafast pulse laser - the first practical ultrafast laser - and the NuTec 'Dual Shuttle' motion system. This work station is available in three versions - as a rotary system, as a flatbed version and as combo with motion control in one stage without tool changes. This offers the customer the full range of operation for development and production.
